"just can't sleep tonight,
knowing that things ain't right.
It's in the papers, it's on the TV,
it's everywhere that I go.
Children are crying, soldiers are dying,
some people don't have a home."
This song is about the war in Iraq. It shows how that he is anti-war and tired of seeing soldiers die on t.v. He also is against the fact that not all soldiers are involved. This war is also affecting children over there. It is destroying their homes with rpgs and stray bullets. Think of how their mothers feel when they're child doesn't come home again because a soldier couldn't get his aim right. War is ridiculous ,and it is somewhat pathetic that grown men cant settle their differences without shooting off a gun.
