Dear Dr. Rhinehart,
My name is Jeffrey Lewis and I'm a student at CHS and I would like to address a situation that is a problem not only in our school but one in every country! Their is a injustice due to every citizen in every country, and that is that they are deprived of knowledge that has happened in the past. This knowledge consist of horrible things, but it is still history. No matter how long we wait to give that information it will not magically change. One of the biggest hidden piece of history was the raping of Nanking. This was were the Japanese went to China and attacked its citizens. They made sons rape mothers and fathers rape daughters for gosh sake! We cant make it go away but we can sure teach people about it so it doesn't happen again. There are plenty of cases of this in history for example; Dr Cong, Sudan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Rwanda, and Burundi! This is a matter of great concern to students like myself. We should be able to have everything that has happened in the past to our knowledge.
From a brilliant student,
Jeffrey Lewis

Tennessee vs. The right way
Scopes was the protester against teaching religion and who followed his standers of teaching evolution. He was trailed for breaking the laws of teaching in Tennessee. He won the case because his debate was the separation of church and state. The supreme court heard his case and agreed with him. This allowed teachers to teach evolutionism in the classroom.

Poem of the 20's
Power in the people Ridiculously happy
Raving lunatics Old americans vs new americans
Organized crime happening Americans are becoming happier
Happy people Raging alcoholics
Indifferent about alcohol Indifferent about religions=new americans
Broken family's wanting beer No more war
Improperty's in the beer making it devil water Going good
Too much drinking
Influenced by beer Twenties Rock!
Old americans are super happy Want new things
NO MORE DRINKING! Employment is hard to find
No more alcohol
To much change
I want to have fun
Enraged new americans

Organized Crime= Systematic Violation
I learned a lot from the Presentations today. One of the most interesting things is how you can go so quickly from being rich and proper to a life of crime. Look at "Pretty Boy Floyd" who had the mentality of a farmer and a baptist, then just one went back home from the wheat fields to go and commit his first crime. There was also a time where "machine gun" Kelly only did petty crimes but once he got married he was a rough villain. There is also the other end of the spectrum of "babyface Nelson" who was always a bad guy even at his childhood. Now that i look at it we have really weak and dumb villains compared to the ones back then.
